Some Craigie Orchards Residents love gardening - let's take a tour ...

Townhouse 74 displays an excellent combination of foliage and flowers beside the driveway. We have heard that the owner of Townhouse 11 is a keen gardener ... and every year it's showtime. The rough bark of the tree with rocks and ferns at its feet, combine well with pink & blue hydrangeas, in front of Townhouse 14.

The small front garden of Townhouse 38, home of another keen Craigie Orchards gardener, provides a mix of shrubs, flowers and accessories, reminiscent of a British "cottage garden." The rear deck of Townhouse 19 portrays a restful place to relax, perhaps with a glass of wine. Townhouse 18 adds another burst of summer colour to this street which always seems to excel with its front garden plantings.

Townhouse 38 always presents a nice front garden of small bushes, flower plantings complemented with the textures of terra cotta pots and of course ... a wooden bird house. The front garden of Townhouse 81. And now for a pleasant surprise.
Since this is our website, I'm going to brag a bit. For three years Kathy and I have been working hard to have our walled garden certified by the Canadian Wildlife Foundation and Parks Canada, as a special habitat for native plants, polinators and chipmunks.
This July, we received our certification plaque.

If you would like to visit inside our walled garden and see the presentation and photos we sent to the CWF for adjudication, please click here - use your browser back arrow to return to this Craigie Orchards website.
